[PCB_FORUM] Re: Extracta in 15.2

Thanks Gary. I can produce the report from within Allegro using the new
report generator, I can run it manually in a system window using the
parts.txt control file, but strangely, the cdc2fab.exe generator will
not produce output from it. 
I guess I could stop being lazy and paste together a quick batch file to
run extracta on the files and string them together...
:o)

Are you running it for the first time since going from 14.x to 15.x?
 
If so, you need to delete the last three lines from the "parts.txt"
file:
 
   COMP_RATED_CURRENT 
   COMP_RATED_POWER 
   COMP_RATED_VOLTAGE
 
 
Here is what my complete "parts.txt" file looks like now (I'm on 15.1):
 
COMPONENT

COMP_CLASS

I notice yours also has one extra line, "COMP_DEVICE_LABEL".  I wonder
why?
 
Anyhow, at least delete those last three lines and give it whirl!

someone knew what Cadence did to the data structure that caused my
fabmaster PARTS.txt to stop outputting. All the rest of the 9 files work
