Let me guess: you widh to deselct some items before redrding the clipboard?
For this (and generaly for all kind of selections) you have tu use the right clic->temp group. If you select something unwanteded, just kepp ctrl key pressed will cliking on the entity. 

Hope this was what you where looking for.

To do one undo, since there is no undo or opps when creating a sub-drawing. I thought I saved this tip but I can’t seem to find it. Does any recall this tip, and would you
