[PCB_FORUM] Re: Editable Library "Menu" file

Vince,

Also, the menu file "cbdsymbol.men" is used with all of the symbol types:

Package = .psm

Mechanical = .bsm

Format = .osm

Shape = .ssm

Flash = .fsm

Custom menus are great, have fun!

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Editable Library "Menu" file

We have Allegro PCB 220 and in doing some research, I found out that I was
able to edit the main Allegro Menu file to add custom entries (in my case I
was able to add additional Grid selections that in turn call out
pre-recorded scripts that change the grids as per the selection). The menu
file that I changed was called "Allegro.men" and can be found in the
SPB_15.5/Share/Pcb/Text/Cuimenus directory. My question is this .. What are
the names of the menu files used in the Symbol Editor (aka - (Package)
Allegro:) and Mechanical Symbol Editor (aka - (Mechanical) Allegro:) and
where can they be found? I have tried various menu files within the Cuimenus
directory, but with no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
in advance to all.
