[PCB_FORUM] Re: Dynamic Fill not updating

Thanks Diana!

I only had to rework one of the culprit planes...

I z-copied the top layer plane to layer 2 and deleted the top boundary
(which deletes the top plane shape) then z-copied layer 2 back to the top
- deleted the layer 2 plane and that resolved all.

Grateful,
Ed

Try turning on the boundary subclass under stackup for the layers in
question. Delete the boundaries and try regenerating the shape again. I
had a similar problem a few months ago and this resolved it.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Dynamic Fill not updating

I have a design to spin from another company and two of the dynamic fills
are not updating.

I get a command line message...

Updating dynamic shape (3 of 2) Gnd, Boundary/Top @ (3650.00 -9120.00)...
Updating dynamic shape (2 of 2) Gnd_Earth, Boundary/Top @ (107.00
-9388.00)...

Yet the shapes are not being updated.

State: Out of date Extents: (57.00 -9388.00) (10616.00 -70.00) Net:
GND_EARTH
State: Out of date Extents: (360.00 -9230.00) (3940.00 -8360.00) Net:
GND

The shapes are not fixed... Anyone know any possibilities why the no
update?

Thanks,
Ed
