[PCB_FORUM] Re: Drill Legend probs

Dave,

It's the Drill Table (Drill Legend, Table whatever) that I'm trying to
generate.

I can run NC Drill, and there is only one place this drill size (2.4 mm)
is used.

The padstack is defined with "Square" as the "Figure", and "A" as a
"Character".

None of this makes sense. I think it's time for official support.

Thanks,

Gary

Look at the drill table.

Somewhere, there are the same hole size with
different drill figures.

Example:

.012 = A
.012 = B

Different pad padstacks with the same hole and same figure
are fine. This is same hole with different figures.

Hey guys,

I'm trying to help a fellow designer in our company (remotely). I have a
copy of his database, it's setup as Metric.

15.5.1, XP Pro.

When running Manufacture -> NC -> Drill Legend, it fails with the
following message:

>>> Begin processing drill holes.

>>> Warning : Hole 2.4000-0.0000-C-N-0.0000-0.0000 uses multiple drill
figures.

>>> End processing drill holes.

To me it looked like "2.4000-0.0000" were coordinates, but there is no
hole there.

I've not seen this one, but I have had two different padstacks with the
same drill figure, which runs fine.

Any ideas as to how to find the offending hole?

Thanks,

Gary
