Over the years...yes, some changes were made to components or pins from within the designs.
Not all, but no way to know which ones WERE modified.
Except when you refresh all, the refresh log file will flag a warning on components that were modified.

In summary:
I can not display pin numbers on these boards unless I refresh all.
Too risky for me. Not knowing exactly what was changed by another designer in the past.

As a backup to this, I will have to show element PIN to verify a pin number.

modify symbols within the design. If not then extract them
and their padstacks, load them into allegro and create a new

We have tech's using the free viewer that would like to see pin numbers displayed on components, but will only work on boards that were designed in 14.2 or later without refreshing.
