I don't buy this as a legitimate excuse.  I'm on quite a few email lists and
this is simply not a problem.  What, exactly, is this purported security
issue that simply can not be solved?  That's a rhetorical question...no need
to answer.

That is easily solved by having the list only accept email from registered
users to that list.  Again, very easily setup.

And it does not happen on any of the other email lists I'm on either.  We
may get ONE in a month on one of 20 lists, and the moderator removes that
account.

I agree with another post, let's not rehash this...obviously, there must be
non-technical reason for it being the way it is, and Cadence has no
intention of accommodating this request.
