I'd better clarify this a bit:  we use this method for connecting
chassis ground to digital on a product with a metal case.  You obviously
wouldn't want to do this with sensitive audio circuits, in which case I
would recommend a zero ohm resistor.

Quite often, the board in question will have connectors with a metal
shield of more than one shield pin.
 
Therefore you can make one of these pins AGND and the rest DGND in the
schematic.   It is a very safe and "legal" way.

Hello All.
 
Quite often, a board contains both AGND and DGND and the customer asks
us to connect them together on a single point on the board, like GND pin
of a connector.
 
Does anybody know how to do it in Allegro without generating DRCs
errors?
