About the thieving command in Allegro:
Documentation is deliberately missing information on the thieving
command. This was a special program contracted by a customer
who had spec'd what they needed. The program is fully supported for
that customer but not for general use. However, since you all
can see it and now know about it, and can run it, you should know
that it is regression tested with the same frequency as all other
programs.
The hotline would be the wrong place to go if you have questions
or issues on it, but since I am familiar with it, please feel free
to contact me if needed.
As for the followup question from Yves, the thieving dots added
are part ofa group. The property editor can be used to delete the
entire group. Show element "group" lists each group name.
