[PCB_FORUM] Re: Converting Pentax to Gerber 274 format

Pentax is a difficult format to find support for these days. It is mostly
just supported by vendors that have had support for it since their
inception. CAM350 never supported the Pentax format and to my knowledge
still does not today. Graphicode on the other had should still have support
for it. We do not support it with GerbTool either - just not enough call for
it.

Read it into Valor, export it as gerber. Probably do the same with CAM360,
GCCAM Edit, or other gerber editing packages.

Easy, yes. Cheap, no :)

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Converting Pentax to Gerber 274 format

Hello again everyone!

I have a customer that has a old gerber data in Pentax format. I was
wondering if there is an easy method for converting the Pentax files to
Gerber 274 format. If anyone have any suggestions I would really appreciate
it.

Thank you,

Seiji
