Austin, sorry about that. The ISR is for Allegro, although it sounds like the 
same problem we were experiencing.

Hi Sam,

 

If you're talking OrCAD, which it appears you are, there are no ISRs for OrCAD 
15.7 or 16.0 on the Cadence web site.

Dale, did you download the latest ISR? I couldn't create PDFs without crashing, 
till i installed the isr.

 I’m having trouble finding information about constraint areas in Orcad PCB 
Editor 16.0

Seems that the help file has nothing but a quote about it in the “What’s New” 
for Orcad 16.0!

I can create a constraint area shape, but I cannot get a rule made for it in 
Constraint Manager.

Has anyone been able to make this work yet?

 

Also, is it my imagination or what, but it appears that there is a lot of bugs 
in 16.0 that need to be taken care of still? I can’t print without crashing, I 
can’t export tech files, many links to the help system don’t work, or take you 
somewhere un-related. Hmmm.
