[PCB_FORUM] Re: Capture CIS - pin swappable schem symbol

Hi Gary,

each pin has SWAP ID property, pins with the same value of SWAP ID are swappable in Allegro (-1 means that a pin is not swappable). Pins have to be of the same type, so for FPGA we temporarily specify them of BIDIR type even if it is not always true.

Hey guys,

We have recently switched to Capture CIS.

The DE is having trouble figuring out how to make a BGA schematic symbol that allows me to swap pins in Allegro.

Anyone know how to do this? I’ve tried finding it in the Cadence documentation with no luck.

Thanks,

Gary
