It sounds like a firewall problem. Did IT disable UAC before installing
Cadence?

IT Loaded Cadence on a laptop (win7) and Orcad and Allegro (16.3) both work. I
opened the schematic and ran update netlist and checked box to "Create or
Update PCB" and "Open Board in Allegro PCB editor", but nothing is happening.
Normally Allegro would pop up with updated board.
Been awhile but is there something I'm missing, why doesn't Allegro
automatically pop up?
I also did the setup in Create Netlist, but that path keeps disappearing.
