[PCB_FORUM] Re: Cannot delete shape, via, cline with net checked

Michael,

By selecting Net under the Find Tab it gives you the ability to delete all
the clines and vias on the entire net throughout the design but you must
also check Ripup Etch, Clines and Vias under the Options Tab in order
for this to work. Most likely you did not have anything checked under the
Options Tab which made it appear that it was not doing anything. This
will not remove the net of the netlist but just delete the etch / vias in
the design.

If you want to use this functionality I would recommend you uncheck
everything
under the Options tab prior to leaving the Delete command to avoid
accidental
deletion of net the next time you use the Delete.

Hope this helps,

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Cannot delete shape, via, cline with net checked

Hi All

When I try to delete shape via clines, when I check on Net also, it does
allow me to delete anything.

Any special purpose for this function or it is a bug..

Please comment

Michael
