What I meant was the dual core processors. Next year they will be
multi-core.
This is the way the chip makers are going. We can't expect any more
horsepower out
of the single cores in the future. Cadence needs to address
multi-threading soon. I
know their standard line is that they don't do multi-threading but they
don't have
any choice now.
I haven't heard of anything but I was hoping by 16 or 17 they would
support multi-
threading. Hope springs eternal!
