Please try this extraction script.
When using version 15, remove these 3 lines from PARTS.TXT ( Under / cdc2fab / 
Config ).
  COMP_RATED_CURRENT 
  COMP_RATED_POWER   
  COMP_RATED_VOLTAGE

Unzip the file and change the extension of CDC2FAB.smp to CDC2FAB.EXE and run 
the setup.

There are also scripts that outputs this file.  Our assembly house
provided us with this script.

Does anyone know how to export a ".CAD"  file from Allegro?
I have provided a ".FAB", brd.txt, pad, txt, sym.txt, rte.txt, but
vendor is
Asking for a file with the .CAD extension for ICT fixturing.
