[PCB_FORUM] Re: BOM report

Thanks Rob, but unfortunately my mail server removed your zip
file. They don't let anything through that has a "zip" extension (paranoid).
If you don't mind, would you change it to .whatever and resend it, I will
change it back.

Thanks Jim

Jim,

Here's a zip file with a script I threw together for you.
I uses a few Windows versions of UNIX commands
that I included in the zip file.

Unzip the file bom.zip into a directory.

Then copy your allegro brd file over to there.

Next, open a DOS window and excute the batch file....

If your allegro file was called "job.brd" then type:

  bom job

You will see a file created called BOM.txt

Hope that does it for you,

Does anyone have a BOM report program from Allegro that they would be
willing to share, similar to this. (Allegro 15.2, Windows XP)
