MessageHey George, Thanks for your response. That's the way I created them, inside of the design. The Fab drawing thing seems funny though: I know they are the same size drill, but with the same drill symbol, looking at the figures inside of the board outline, how can you tell the 1-2s from the 7-8s? The drill symbols are the same, but the charts are created on separate layers so it doesn't really matter (at least in 15.2). -- George Patrick Tektronix, Inc. Do you create BBV padstacks for your pad library? I see in the padstack editor, Parameters tab, you can set the Type to "Blind/Buried". I've tried to create a BBV padstack in the editor without luck. What do you guys using BBVs do? Create them in the design or in your library? Also, when creating the drill legend for the Fab drawing, if a 1-2 blind via and a 8-7 blind via were created in the database from the same top to bottom via (the same laser drill size in this case), the "figure" in the drill legend is the same. Is this correct, or do you have different "figures" for the 1-2 and 8-7 same size drills? Thanks for any responses! Gary E. MacIndoe PCB Design Engineer Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Longmont, Colorado
