I am making the assumption that you are fanning out for
ICT test. I don't know if there is a way to set a via versus routing grid in
allego
but I can offer some help.

Here are two suggestions:
The visual method involve a common setup is 25 and 5

This is done by going to Setup=> Grid entering 25 in the x & y for Non Etch
Then enter 5 5 5 5 5 in the x & y for All Etch. You can then manually place
your vias durring fanout
every other highlighted grid.

Another method is setting this under fanout by pick.

Choose Route=>Fanout By Pick then click your right mouse button and choose
setup. There
is a Testpoint Tab in this dialog box that allows you to set the via grid.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Auto Router Via Grid

I look thru the documentation before posting here. I am fairly new to Cadence
tool suite.

I see how to set the Via grid in the Shape based Auto Router but I do not see
a Via Grid in the native Allegro tool itself. How does one control, in Allegro
etch editor, moving vias on 50 mil grid while moving clines on a 5 mil grid?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
