Both xxx and yyy are from your general properties. What it's asking is
if an xxx signal is next to a yyy signal within the boundaries of area1,
what rule should it use. The assignment table will grow with the number
of net_spacing_types you have and also with the number of areas you
have. You need to tell it what the rules are for any kind of net next to
any other kind of net in each of the areas you've defined. Note that xxx
xxx area1 will also be one of the listings, because you need to know
what rule to use if two nets, both with net_spacing_type of xxx are near
each other.

Below spacing rule assignment table you get something like attached pic
or something like below.
The xxx is what we've attached or defined thru Constraint Manager in the
General Properties. And the Area property is the areas we drew up and
attached a name/prop to it. .What's the yyy?
Net Spacing Type Properties Area Property Net Spacing
Constraint Set
xxx yyy area1
we choose from pull down.
xx y area2
we choose from pull down.
x yyy
we choose from pull down.
