[PCB_FORUM] Assembly Checklist

Hello All,

            I apologize for this not being a Cadence question but this is
the best group I have access to for this issue.  Our manufacturing plant
has no checklist for documenting assembly problems i.e. , number of
failures, shorts clean-up time, type of solder used, thermal oven profile,
etc.  We only hear of problems when they fail to meet production
requirements, then the fingers start pointing the PCB designer way.  I
want to start requiring them to document all assembly runs.  Does anyone
use a purchased software checklist?  If so, what is it?  If you use a
homemade checklist would you be willing to share what info you have them
record?   I appreciate any and all input.  Thanks!  -DC
