We usually have this artwork problem when we are creating artwork file using
the Gerber RS274X Device type in General Parameters and having Static and
Dynamic Shapes overlapping with each other (typically static shapes are from
the components and Dynamic shapes are from area fills of nets)
We have the following options
1. Use Gerber 6x00 Device Type option
2. Make both shape the same (static or Dynamic) then merge the shape

This may be one of the bugs in Allegro. Which level are you using? Do you have
the latest ISR patch?
In one of the 15X levels dynamic shapes with voids would implode making the
shape causing the error to be invisble. Go to display and make sure that your
"stackup" "boundary layer" is turned on, if you can find the shape delete it
and start again.

Hi all,
When I create artwork, an error message is displayed says that:
ERROR: aborting film - Shape with first seg=(644.327 503.002) [layer=TOP]
has a void with extents [(-625.002 574.998) (525.002 655.002)] that touches
another shape with first seg=(-555.945 639.370). Manually resolve problem.
ERROR: aborting film - artwork will not be generated!
Error in TOP--halting output. Artwork file not generated.
*** ERROR with TOP
How can I abort this error and generate this artwork file?
