This is for you Valor users out there.
When I load my gerber, drill and ipc netlist into Valor and run
Netlist Analysis, it interprets all non-standard pads and pads with offsets
incorrectly. It uses the pad location and extents of the pad in it's
calculation.
Looking at the netlist, I can see why, because that is where the pads
are defined.
My solution is to globally replace the offending pads in the netlist with
a small
square.
Is it possible the part could be made differently such that the ipc netlist
understands the correct pad size and location?
Has anyone experienced this problem?
Thanks
Ron
