        That is exactly what I am trying to do (print a mask on a laser
printer to expose a PCB with). However, hrm, I can't seem to produce
drill output in Allegro (I feel like such a newbie).

<snip>
  Err: Extract process failed. Program terminated.

  Ncroute terminating due to an error 1
</snip>

        That's what Manufacture->NC->Route->Generate outputs in the log
file. Prior to that, I also ran through "Drill Tape" generation (not sure
what that does).

        My design is very simple (just for testing). Uses 3 components:
1 TO-92 and 2 SMT transistors.

        I assume after the drill info generation is successful, I can just
open up my artwork like I normally do, and then File->Import->Drill... and
select the drill file? This should open my drill holes, yes?

        Alternatively, is there any way of moving the artwork from allegro
to layout, since layout can print with open drill holes so much easier?

        Thanks for any/all help!
