Hi
I've seen a similar problem when someone open the Constraint Manager
from inside
the schematic. Once they open it the schematic becomes the driver for
the CM not
Allegro.
There is a procedure to break this connection. If this is what's going
on you can contact
Cadence and they will tell you how to do it.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Allegro V15.7 (HIGHER TIER TOOL MESSAGE)
Hi all,
Can anybody tell me why I am getting this message when opening a board
that was just packaged into from a board previously saved by the same
tool?
Saved board, package (Concept) schematic change into the saved board,
then output board = new name.
I have lost all of my Constraint Manager groups for my matched
impedances. (OUCH)!
I always use Allegro Design Entry HDL L
Here are my import logic to Allegro settings:
With Allegro open I can see the option L (see below) NOT A HIGHER TIER
TOOL...THE SAME TOOL.
This is happening every time I package now.
Regards,
Mark
