Hi Dave,
We now use ODB++ virtually exclusively for fabrication, without any
problems.
Our manufacturing plant uses the ODB++ viewer for verification.
We have confidence in the ODB++ outputs but use GCPrevuePlus with the
ODB++ add-on for a third-party check.
ViewmasterEZ ($49) is also a great tool for cheaply viewing and
verifying ODB++ data.
We send no other data except for a pdf specification sheet.
Note that we also use ODB++ to support our array designs - ODB++ has a
step and repeat feature.
I can't think why anyone would use Gerber/NC any more unless your
fabricator won't accept ODB++.
Cheers, Dave

Would like to get other user's thoughts on the use of ODB++:
- are you using ODB++ for fabrication, manufacturing, ICT
- does the Allegro "ODB++ inside" translator produce accurate and reliable data
- how do you verify the accuracy of your ODB++ data
- if using ODB++, do you provide additonal data/drawing formats
- any other pros/cons of ODB++ use
Thanks,
Dave
