[PCB_FORUM] Re: 15.2 text outside of route keein

Whoa! 3 responses directly from Cadence.
I guess they do keep an eye on us.
Better watch what you say!

Jean,

The doc was incorrect. It has been updated to say:

NODRC_ETCH_OUTSIDE_KEEPIN - apply directly to etch elements that you can attach properties to, which are limited to clines, lines, rectangles, and shapes outside the route keepin area.

Hi all,

In the "what's new in Release 15.2, there's a new property called
NODRC_ETCH_OUTSIDE_KEEPIN with a description that reads "apply directly to
clines or text outside the route keeping area". So, I did an Edit Property,
to add it to some titleblock text offboard on an etch layer, and it doesn't
let me attach properties to text (grayed out in the find filter). Anyone
played with this yet? Any ideas how to make it work?

Thanks,

Jean
