Andy,
Although I am by no means an expert in checkplus, I think you can write a rule
to check for this condition. There are string operator functions in checkplus.
That way you can just use the native Cadence tools for navigation.

Happy friday everyone,
Anyone know where I could find a document that describes the syntax of
ConceptHDL Marker files?
I am trying to write a skill program that checks bus signal names for
<MSB..LSB> and reports an error when it finds <LSB..MSB>. I want to include
hierarchical block pin names
as well and would like the marker window to popup with a custom written marker
file.....
