[icon-users] PostScript 3 and EW/TW

You probably did not have any chance to miss the announcement about 
the PostScript 3 driver now being available. :-)

Of course, it is our intention to make this driver work seamlessly 
with the "Save as PostScript" and "Save as PDF" features of EasiWriter 
and TechWriter. Unfortunately, this is not the case at the moment 
because of the special nature of these comfortable "direct save" 
features: EW/TW does a special check to see whether the PostScript 
driver is correctly initialized, and this check was designed to work 
with the existing Acorn PostScript 1/2 driver but fails for the new 
PostScript 3 driver. So, at the moment, using "Save as PostScript" or 
"Save as PDF" with the new PostScript 3 driver lead to an error 
message. You can of course print normally via the PostScript 3 driver 
from EW/TW, but that means you miss the extra functionality the "Save 
as PDF" feature offers, i.e., live links and the automatically 
generated document outline tree.

Fixing this will require new versions of EasiWriter and TechWriter, 
which will of course be free upgrades from the existing 8.81 versions. 
I will make the upgrades available in due course.
