Ted,
Try changing the carriage returns to carriage return followed by line feed before porting them over. It sounds like sending them with only line feed line endings isn't doing the job for some reason. By the way, how are you getting the files from the BNS to your Braille Plus? I got tied up doing other stuff today so haven't moved any of my files over yet. I'll give it a try over the weekend.

Richard and list,

The line endings are indeed the problem with moving files that
are useful
to the icon-braille plus, but changing ascii 13 to ascii 10 does
not seem
to solve the problem, and I'm not sure why as of yet.

Hey Ted,
Why not use the find and replace on your BNS to make all the
desired
changes to the files before porting them over to the Braille
Plus? Now
that I have seen some answers about my line termination question,
that is
how I plan to port all my old BNS text over. If you are a long
time BNS
user, you probably already know the various commands to do the
find and
replace of any kind of character or string, so will not clog this
list
with this kind of info. If you or anyone else needs a quick and
dirty
short list of commands to do this on the BNS or other Blazie note
takers,
contact me off list and I can tell you how. My email address is:

Is there a way to have the Braille plus find and replace control
characters. This might do what I would like.
