[icon-discuss] Re: weird issue

Hi James:

You might want to go back and check your Recording Settings and make sure that 
the Internal Microphone is selected.  If External has been selected, you will 
get this static sound.  I have had units come back for repair with this 
problem, but when I checked, the wrong setting was chosen.
