Well, I got through the registration and I even got through where it said
"software download is complete" for version 1.1, but now I'mstuck on where
the status button just gives me "system updater." Isit in the midst of
installing or what? It's been this way for the last hour and a half.
Any ideas?

Michael

Great. The customer support at LevelStar and APH is really great. If I
get this update working before I call Michael, I will post to the list and
let everyone know how I finally got this solution, because it seems like
several people are having the same problem. I am also worried about
updating for the next few days. I am reading more and more posts hat people
are going to wait. So, my guess would be that this server will be packed
for a week! Is there anyway that we could tell how many people are
downloading at the current time, so we can figure out if it sis a good time
to update or not, so we don't risk any of the strange things that have been
happening before/during/after the update?
  Just a suggestion.
  Thanks!

Normally, anyone with a Braille + needs to go through APH. However, I
imagine, in this circumstance, if it is really not possible for you to
contact APH, given that you can't update otherwise, and that it is not a
hardware issue or something specific to your unit, that Michael would assist
you.

    Hi Jenny,
Since I have a braille Plus, does that mean I can't call LevelStar? I
really need help with this server thing (if it isn't working by 4:30). I
would think that because the update process is the same, it wouldn't matter
who I called.
    Thanks!

LevelStar is open until 6 central time, as they are in Colorado and that
is 5 Mountain.

      Hi Marc:
I can't call Michael or Pamela at LevelStar or APH do to the fact that
I am not able to call tech support until 4:00 central. Is LevelStar open
later than that?

      Hi Irwin:

Our server is having a real hard time keeping up today. If you
continue to have problems, please call Michael in the morning, and he can
help you.

thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience!
