I'm using the word processor and planner all the time now for work. But one thing that puzzles me is this: How do I move to the bottom of a file? I keep putting text where it doesn't belong, like in the middle of a document. I seem to be in a place other than I thought I was in, and I'm sure there is a simple fix for this. When I arrow down line by line I seem to end up at the beginning of a line, but thinking I'm at the end, I start brailling. Any help would be appreciated on keeping my text at the end of the file, not in some other weird place. And other questions The majority of Braille note users do not have GPS, and, the reason many of them will not switch to the Icon or Braille Plus is, the word Braille. A Braille note has a refreshable Braille display, and that is important to some. However, this brings me to some other questions. I see mail on this list about downloading podcasts, RSS feeds, music etc. I rarely, however, see mail from anyone who is using the Icon or the Braille Plus for anything besides well, pleasure. I would love to hear from someone who is actually using either device to do real work. For instance, is anyone using either device to take notes in meetings? To keep important appointment information? As someone who can make recommendations for clients, it is fairly important to gain some of this information. Yes, the Icon and Braille Plus have many unique and wonderful features, but when it comes to procuring products for clients, I can't justify purchasing an Icon because the client can download NBC nightly news! Therefore, if anyone on this list is using one of these devices either as a student or a professional, I'd love to hear about it. You can either write to the list or write me off list. -----Original Message----- From: icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:icon-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Claude Everett Sent: Friday, April 25, 2008 9:16 AM To: icon-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [icon-discuss] Re: GPS on the ICON? Well, you might consider it sooner because the sooner that you incorporate GPS into your product, the sooner current BrailleNote consumers will be switching.
