Hello tim-
I own a 250gb passport drive and it doesn't seem to work with the icon
braille plus. I tried it a few months ago, with it plugged in to the
regular USB port on the sync cable and the drive would start to spin/power
on then abruptly spin/shut down.
How did you get your 80gb drive working? I also own a western digital drive
that uses outlet power in order to run and that works fine connected to the
icon.
