Thanks. Perhaps that's it. I don't know what my preferred reading method is set to. If I set it to computer braille, would that cause problems in other areas? Thanks. It sounds like it is just converting it according to your preferences. I am trying to copy a wep key into my comments field for Linksys in my address book. No matter whether I use control L to turn braille on or off, when I read back the entry, it has ble for number sign and the number. There is a dot six before every capital letter even though I used control L to turn braille off before entering the key. I have tried turning braille off then typing in the command. It looks fine until I press okay to save then it translates into braille when I look at the comment field. Any ideas? Thanks. __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 3047 (20080422) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 3049 (20080423) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 3050 (20080423) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com
