Thanks. Perhaps that's it. I don't know what my preferred reading method is
set to. 

If I set it to computer braille, would that cause problems in other areas?

What happens if you set your preferred reading to computer braille?

 

It sounds like it is just converting it according to your preferences.

Hi, guys.

I am trying to copy a wep key into my comments field for Linksys in my
address book. No matter whether I use control L to turn braille on or off,
when I read back the entry, it has ble for number sign and the number.

There is a dot six before every capital letter even though I used control L
to turn braille off before entering the key.

I have tried turning braille off then typing in the command. It looks fine
until I press okay to save then it translates into braille when I look at
the comment field.

Any ideas?
