Hi Richard,
I found that when I tried to write the word nation I could not use the n dot
6 n way of doing it. I had to write it out na dots 5-6 n in order to get
it to pronounce correctly. I've had no trouble with numbers if I put a
number sign before them except in the address book where phone numbers have
to be written in Nemeth code. Also, I keep my bank records as a word
document. As I'm writing the amounts in, even with the dollar sign placed
before the amount, the Braille+ wants to spell it out like a word, but when
I read the line back to myself, it does indeed read everything correctly.
But, I must write the words equals and plus out. Those are the only unusual
behaviors I've noticed. Let me know if you notice anything else ... I'm
curious.

First of all thanks for all the helpful nls and router info. For the moment
those problems are solved.
I generally leave the unit set for computer braille. When showing this unit
to
a friend he was a bit shocked that he couldn't use grade 2. I changed the
setting to grade 2 and the results were a bit interesting. Apparently you
can't change that setting while in the middle of a document in the word
processor. Also some things didn't seem to translate as I expected. Any
whole
word contractions such as b = but were still pronounced b rather than but.
I
don't think numbers worked quite as expected. Are there any other settings
that I should have looked at? Has anyone else found the grade 2 behavior
unusual? I haven't downloaded any .brf files I was just writing in the word
processor.
