[icon-discuss] Re: braille plus improvements and maybe a question

I bought a USB adapter that you can plug into a cigarette lighter which also
keeps my Braille Plus going.
Anisio, what sort of converter did you get, like what is the right voltage?
I guess that voltage thing scares me because I worry about getting the wrong
kind an blowing out my devices! Lol. But it sounds like you goe the right
charger, converter, whatever it is that your devices are not blowing up all
ovoer the place! hahahaha! So that's why I'm asking about the correct
voltage. Or am I making this more complicated than it needs to be?

Peace,
Kathy

|I purchased a converter (not sure if this is the correct name) - a gismo
| that I plug to the cigarette lighter in the car and, on the other end, I
| have two regular outlets to which I can plug in plug. So, whenever my
| Braille Plus gets down on its battery, I just plug it in, while perhaps
also
| charging my cell phone or Trekker GPS. Prices vary depending on the power
| needed, mine cost somewhere around $50 from Radio Shack.
