Clarification please.
So if I'm using disk drive mode, and I cancel out of there, should I shut
down th unit before or after I disconnect the cable?
So I should disconnect thumb drives and usb keyboards before powering down?

This is required for proper operation of the upcoming docking station. Not
all USB devices implement USB wake events consistently. Simply disconnect
USB devices before powering down. We may allow you to disable USB wake
support in a future release.
