I have personally never seen a icon, but I have read that they are almost
the same size. If you are a good Braille writer, I would strongly suggest
purchasing the Braille Plus. Also if you used to use the Braille 'N Speak
or the Braille Lite and liked those commands, they work very good on the
Braille Plus. The Icon and Braille Plus also are the same price.
The only other different thing about the Braille Plus is that the Braille
Plus is made by APH and the Icon is made by Level Star.

Subject: [icon-discuss] To Icon, or to Braille+, that is the question

Hello, all,
It looks like I'm sadly going to have to replace my Icon. At the
time I bought the Icon, I wasn't aware the Braille Plus had been produced.
So I was contemplating perhaps replacing my Icon with a Braille Plus
(They're still the same price right?) So what I'm wondering is, aside from
the Braille keyboard, are there any other advantages to the Braille Plus,
and how does the size compare to the Icon?

Thanks,
Terrence
