Yep, that's what happened to me, man. My docking cable wouldn't go into the docking port. Well, it sort of got worse as time went on; first I just ignored the problem thinking it'd be like that forever--but then my docking cable broke. Hope my unit came in as it's been over a month and I'm quite worried now.

Hi. When you pushed the cord into the icon, did you make sure it
snapped
into place? If so, you can't actually remove the cord unless you
pinch the
sides to release the pieces that hold into place. But as you
push it in
firmly, but gently, you should feel it snap into place.

I figured out my problem was. I think the cord with the box on
it doesn't
fit into my icon good enough for that to work. I had to move the
cord
around to get it to work but it kept connecting and
disconnecting. I'm
going to have to contact Level Star about this.

Put your unit in disk drive mode. It's in the utilities mccu but I don't remember the number, so just arrow down till ya find it. Then plug your unit into the pc. Windows should see it as a standard 30 gb hard drive.
