I understand the security, but still I feel that I should have the option with a strong warning instead of not have the option at all?

In fact, if you try to do so on your computer, you'll get a message to that effect, and a prompt that asks you if you really want to do that. There seems to be no way to share entire harddrives, I also find this a limitation, may have to look at the config files but that's not for this list. It might be insightful if Jenny or someone official could say why an entire drive can't be shared from the menu.
