It's the status listing thing that comes up when you hold down the status key.

If it dies, the Braille Plus automatically restarts it which results in the Welcome message you hear. After the welcome message has sounded, if you try to press and hold Cancel again to shut it off, it should be successful. I am wondering if anyone has had a problem with the Braille Plus not shutting down. I hold down the cancel key and my unit will vibrate and beep and then I will walk away and I will suddenly hear, "Welcome to the Braille Plus. Soft where version 1.06, build 21. Applications menu 1 address book. I end up leaving my Braille Plus on for five minutes and then it will say, "inactivity timeout", because I have my settings set for shutting off after five minutes. I submitted a problem report to Level Star. Has anyone had this problem, and if so what can I do about it? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
