Arpad:  Send an email to the ATM reflector about the vote on BIRD 144
        - done

Arpad:  Propose IBIS spec changes to clarify ISS D2A & A2D interfaces
        - no update

Arpad:  Write a new revision of BIRD 117 and 118 to generalize
        references to parameters in files (.ami or any)
        - in progress

Ambrish update BIRD 145 for pad to pin mapping and other clarifications
  - Need to say what it will not solve

      - take a vote on whether to end the discussions on BIRD 144.3 in
        the ATM teleconferences and to make a recommendation to the
        IBIS Open Forum to reject the BIRD.


    - BIRD 145.2 Cascading [Model] with [External Model]     (Cadence)

      - questions, comments?


    - BIRD 117.4/118.3 draft2
      - introduction of changes in this draft                 (Arpad)
        - enclosed the tree in new IBIS keywords when the tree is
          inside the .ibs file
        - file name is now part of the parameter tree reference
        - included full "path" in the tree
        - still need to define rules for various parameter types
          - Reserved vs. Model_Specific
          - required vs. optional
      - questions/comments/discussion?


    - BIRD 116/144 related:  The ATM group decided on 4/3/2012 that
      it is sufficient to describe the ideal nature of D_to_A and
      A_to_D converters as the boundary condition for models in
      [External Model] and [External Circuit].

    - Find a good place in the specification to mention this.
        - Tx model is always driven by an ideal voltage source
          - i.e. zero output impedance
        - Rx model is always loaded by an ideal voltage source
          - i.e. infinite input impedance
        - Rx model's "A_to_D" converter is really an ideal probe which
          has an output of a floating point number
        - allowing multiple trees in one file is a good idea with
          keywords [Begin Parameter Trees] [End Parameter Trees]
          - eliminate 120 character line requirement inside these 
            keywords?
          - use virtual file name instead of tree name?
        - separate the general syntax and rules of the tree from
          specific rules which apply to AMI or *-AMS and ISS models

10) What is the purpose of the specification?  Describe the syntax
    and rules of the syntax, or tell the reader how to make models?
