IBIS-ISS Issues (all page numbers refer to Adobe Acrobat PDF file for Review
Draft 1)
1) Page 5 erroneously refers to netlists
2) Page 6 erroneously states that independent sources are not supported
3) Page 7 contains an unclear description of where italics are used
4) Page 8 uses "dot" in place of the more appropriate "period"
5) Page 9 refers to quoted filenames; this should be clarified to mention
paths as well
6) Page 13 should clarify the differences between "lines" and
"line-termination sequences"
7) Page 15 and 16, Table 6 uses inconsistent capitalization
8) Page 17, Section 4.9 uses inconsistent fonts
Two technical issues have cropped up (I will bring these up during the IBIS
Open Forum teleconference):
9) Page 25 forces tool support of transient and AC analyses, plus
temperature parameters. Was this intended?
10) A section 4.12 should be added to state that "IBIS-ISS files shall
include at least one subcircuit at the top level, aside from any included
files." The section should clarify the structural requirements of IBIS-ISS
files.
