A writer reached out to me, seeking information about issues facing school
libraries around the world, so she can compare to similar concerns in the
US.

Please reply directly to Linda at lrj417@xxxxxxxxx so she has great
material for this fellowship application - and can share her findings with
us!

My name is Linda Jacobson and I'm a freelance writer who writes a lot about
both public and school libraries.

I'm working on a project proposal for an education reporting fellowship
that will include an international focus on an education issue.

I'm interested in a few ideas:
- issues affecting school libraries in other countries in general
-libraries as the link between schools and families in the community
(innovative examples of outreach)
-partnerships between public and school libraries that address issues of
equity, achievement gaps, etc.

Thank you for any examples you can provide. You can contact me at
lrj417@xxxxxxxxx.
