[huskerlug] Re: linux for newbies

        Well, you do have a problem.   The easiest to configure and setup
is SuSE.  However, if he can get an older version of Windows, that 
may be good.   Of course what has been mentioned here is Knoppix 
which has some simple built-in safeguards, which would make it 
something of an alternative.   ---Jim
