Mandrake IMO by far the easiest to fresh install.

However Knoppix off a CD by far the hardest to "destroy" :D

http://www.xandros.com/ might be another option if you had a working Windows
install to "clone" per say.

What's this kid doing in windows? If he's much like the younger crowd that
come to our LAN Parties their into games and Linux isn't going to cut it for
most popular games.

Might want to look at other windows protecting software, Deep freeze, Ghost
(can be made to do it), Fool Proof, Go Back...etc
