I tend to top post any more unless I am replying inline. I find that
bottom posting for the most part annoys me any more (not that I am
expecting people to change, I just prefer the top posts). If it is a
complex or exceptionally lengthy reply (on several topics) inline makes
more sense because you break it up on a point by point basis. If it is
a quicker reply or a reply to the thread in general I top post. If
there is something that isn't clear I can reread the thread below but if
I've managed to follow the conversation so far I don't have to scroll
down to find where the reply begins and read from there.
