Well, I'll appologize for my connotation which wasn't in the BBC's
article. If you want to see their denotation of the problem it is

It can be a problem with servers using the 2003 version of the
Microsoft product, and since many of these may be at UNL, you should
pass this info along, if people don't have the automatic warning
system that can be downloaded for Windows 98SE or don't check into the
upgrade center of MS regularily.
