OH sh_____t! who bashed?
I am making a call to others concerning the hard drive
failure statistics of Microsoft OS, (seems VERY HIGH!)
vs the low failure rate when the similar equipment
runs on Open SOURCE!!!
I consider it an insult to our intelligence when
someone always claims that legitimate science and
investigation is some kinda witch hunt or bashing!
I am suffering hard drive failures that are PERMANENT
and cost big bucks to all my client systems, that run
Microsoft products, while the exact same make, model,
of equipment runs silently and error free on OPEN
source platforms, and the ratio is 6 MS systems to 25
Open Source Systems! The MS systems have fried 8
drives, averaging about 3-4 months per use!
This accelerated hardware failure is cost prohibitive!
Any college student who intends to have a future in
management of equipment would do well to investigate
repetitive hardware failure, find the cause, and
eliminate it! I sure wouldn't want to serve on a
ship that lost all power every 3-4 months!
I question the ethics and wisdom of anyone who wants
to shut down these questions of stability and
reliability that seems to be directly related to the
MS OS.
Anyone on this list have any of the requested data?
